The Crème du Nil is non-comedogenic. We added Hibiscus to further exfoliate gently and refine your pores, without irritating your skin. The cream is rich in hydration but lightweight in feel, designed to nourish without clogging pores.

Plant-derived (from olives)! Creme du Nil is a vegan formulation. 

Massage a blueberry-sized dollop onto a cleansed face and neck using gentle, upward strokes. The Crème du Nil works great layered over a serum/face oil as the final step in your routine (especially for normal/combination/oily skin or during warmer summer months).

For dry skin, during winter, or for an overnight moisture boost, we recommend applying the Crème du Nil before ending with a pea-sized amount of the Pure Nilotica Melt. Bundle the Crème du Nil with a Pure Nilotica Melt in the AM/PM Kit to save on both.

We developed the formula with no artificial fragrance, sulfates, parabens, and other allergens specifically for people who have issues with most cosmetic formulas.

The "fragrance" is a natural ginger oolong scent - without synthetics or fillers. Because it’s used at just 0.5% strength (vs. around 5% common in conventional beauty), the scent is subtle and doesn’t linger after application.

We also don't use what is known as masking agents (common additives to alter or cover up the natural aroma of a product), as we believe in products being as close to their natural states as possible. As such, you'll also feel some grounding, earthy notes of the botanical base.

Current labeling regulations require us to list it simply as "fragrance," despite its natural origin. We're working on a reformulation that will allow us to list each scent component individually, which is something we’re hoping to be able to launch in the near future pending final testing.

LXMI’s copper wand is a dual-purpose tool designed to elevate your skincare ritual. Use the flat, black end to hygienically scoop product from jars, keeping your skincare free from contamination.

Then, turn the wand around and glide the rounded copper tip over your face in upward, outward strokes to gently massage the product into your skin. This end helps boost circulation, depuff, and promote absorption — offering a cooling, calming effect that transforms your routine into a moment of self-care. If you already have plenty of copper wands from previous orders, you can also choose to opt out of receiving further copper wands to reduce environmental waste.
