Dark glass and aluminum.
Light breaks down skincare ingredients over time, so both products are packaged to keep it out. The Reboot Face Mask comes in a 50ml recyclable dark violet glass jar that filters out damaging visible light, plus a reusable cotton pouch - perfect for travel or storing jewelry or skincare. The Melt comes in a 100% recycled aluminum tube that blocks light and limits air exposure for optimal performance.
What skin type is the kit good for?
It works for all skin types. The mask balances + reinvigorates, and the Melt is non-comedogenic + nourishing, making it a holistic duo for various skin needs.

How do I mix the Reboot mask?
Mix 1 tsp of powder with 2 tsp of water (or to desired texture) in a bowl or your palm. Apply to clean skin with a brush or fingers, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15-20 min or until dry. Remove with lukewarm water, preferably in the shower, gently washing off section by section. Avoid getting the mask into the eye. If it gets into the eye, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Follow with the Pure Nilotica Melt to lock in the moisture. Use 1-2 times/week or as needed.
Bonus tip: for a deeper moisture boost, mix the mask with the same amount of greek yoghurt and/or honey instead of water.
Why is the Reboot Face Mask in powder form?
The waterless formula delivers maximum freshness while minimizing environmental impact. By leaving out water, the formula remains shelf-stable without preservatives, allowing you to activate it fresh with each use, customize it with your favorite mixers, and giving you more mask for your money.
The waterless design makes the mask lighter and more compact, reducing packaging waste and lowering carbon emissions during shipping while also making it more travel-friendly (no liquids means no hassle at airport security!). It’s a smart, sustainable choice for radiant skin at home or on the go.
How do I use the Melt?
The Melt is the ultimate multi-tasker. It’s popular as a concentrated moisturizer, overnight/in-flight mask, lip treatment, after-sun or ski balm, shaving cream, beard balm, on dry hands and cuticles, dry spots and elbows, small cuts, burns, split ends, & more.
A pea-sized amount is all you need, so a little goes a long way! Just massage in a bit of balm anywhere your body is needing some extra TLC.
Is the kit cruelty free?
Absolutely! None of our products (nor our ingredients) are tested on animals. The line is Leaping Bunny certified and vegan.
What does social impact mean?
A social impact brand differs from a regular business, whose primary focus is profit. Like a non-profit, the main driver for an impact brand is to make a difference - but it sustains itself through the products or services it sells (not donations).
LXMI’s impact mission centers around uplifting marginalized women & Indigenous communities and protecting biodiversity through ethical + regenerative ingredient harvesting. For us, doing good isn’t an add-on or an afterthought to doing business — it’s the foundation. Business is the vehicle, not the end goal. We exist to create meaningful change for people and the planet, and commerce is simply the engine that sustains and amplifies that impact. Thank you so much for being part of making a difference!
