Dark glass, plus a pouch to keep.
Light gradually weakens skincare ingredients, robbing a formula of its effect before you've reached the bottom of the jar. The Reboot Face Mask comes in a 50ml recyclable glass jar that looks almost black but is actually deep violet, filtering out damaging visible light so every use performs as it should. It also comes with a reusable cotton pouch, perfect for travel or for storing jewelry and skincare.
How do I use it?
Mix 1 tsp of powder with 2 tsp of water (or to desired texture) in a bowl or your palm. Apply to clean skin with a brush or fingers, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15-20 min or until dry. Remove with lukewarm water, preferably in the shower, gently washing off section by section. Avoid getting the mask into the eye. If it gets into the eye, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Follow with your favorite moisturizer and/or the Pure Nilotica Melt to lock in the moisture. Use 1-2 times/week or as needed.
Bonus tip: for a deeper moisture boost, mix the mask with the same amount of greek yoghurt and/or honey instead of water.
Why is it in powder form?
The waterless formula delivers maximum freshness while minimizing environmental impact. By leaving out water, the formula remains shelf-stable without preservatives, allowing you to activate it fresh with each use, customize it with your favorite mixers, and giving you more mask for your money.
The waterless design makes the mask lighter and more compact, reducing packaging waste and lowering carbon emissions during shipping while also making it more travel-friendly (no liquids means no hassle at airport security!). It’s a smart, sustainable choice for radiant skin at home or on the go.
Can I mix it with something other than water?
Yes! For a deeper moisture boost, mix the mask with the same amount of Greek yoghurt and/or honey instead of water.
Which skin types is it for?
All skin types — it can be tailored to your skin's needs. It's especially recommended for normal, combination and oily skin.
Why is it waterless?
Leaving out water keeps the formula shelf-stable without preservatives, lets you activate it fresh with each use and customize it with your favorite mixers, and gives you more mask for your money.
It also makes the jar lighter and more compact — less packaging waste, lower shipping emissions, and no liquids to worry about at airport security.
Is LXMI cruelty-free?
Absolutely! None of our products (nor our ingredients) are tested on animals. The line is Leaping Bunny certified and vegan.
Does natural/plant-based skincare really work?
It can be highly effective, but not all skincare is created equal. The LXMI line is different as it begins with wild-harvested botanicals from remote regions untouched by commercial agriculture. Fertile soil yields potent ingredients dense in nutrients.
The result is skincare that delivers intense nourishment and repair, while also reflecting our stand for social impact and honoring nature’s wisdom.
What does social impact mean?
A social impact brand differs from a regular business, whose primary focus is profit. Like a non-profit, the main driver for an impact brand is to make a difference — but it sustains itself through the products or services it sells (not donations).
LXMI's impact mission centers around uplifting marginalized women & Indigenous communities and protecting biodiversity through ethical + regenerative ingredient harvesting.
