Still curious? Write to us at hello@lxmi.com

How do I use it?

Massage into skin with gentle, loving strokes. For an extra supple, soft feel and to lock in additional hydration, apply to damp skin after showering.

Does it have added fragrance?

No — only the natural scent of the botanicals.

Is LXMI cruelty-free?

Absolutely! None of our products (nor our ingredients) are tested on animals. The line is Leaping Bunny certified and vegan.

Is it greasy? I normally use body lotion.

The Nourishing Body Oil is quick-absorbing — more decadent than a lotion, but not greasy.

With moisturizing Tuhka, dry-touch Daikon Radish oil, and lightweight Camellia oil, it sinks in beautifully.

What does it smell like?

The product’s botanical oils have an earthy, grounded aroma, with a well-balanced hint of crisp, alluring Clementine and soft, subtle Vanilla (not sweet or synthetic). The scent doesn’t linger or overpowers, but is bright, fresh, and energizing.

Does natural/plant-based skincare really work?

It can be highly effective, but not all skincare is created equal. The LXMI line is different as it begins with wild-harvested botanicals from remote regions untouched by commercial agriculture. Fertile soil yields potent ingredients dense in nutrients. The result is skincare that delivers intense nourishment and repair, while also reflecting our stand for social impact and honoring nature’s wisdom.

What does social impact mean?

A social impact brand differs from a regular business, whose primary focus is profit. Like a non-profit, the main driver for an impact brand is to make a difference - but it sustains itself through the products or services it sells (not donations).

LXMI’s impact mission centers around uplifting marginalized women & Indigenous communities and protecting biodiversity through ethical + regenerative ingredient harvesting. For us, doing good isn’t an add-on or an afterthought to doing business — it’s the foundation. Business is the vehicle, not the end goal. We exist to create meaningful change for people and the planet, and commerce is simply the engine that sustains and amplifies that impact. Thank you so much for being part of making a difference!
