Won't weigh hair down
A light tonic that leaves hair free and full of life.
Nothing synthetic
No synthetic fragrance, parabens, silicones or sulfates.
Protected in dark glass.
A 50ml recyclable dark violet glass bottle to protect the formula from oxidation and maintain optimum performance. It looks almost black, but it's a deep violet glass that blocks visible light that otherwise can break down your skincare products over time. By filtering out the light, the packaging helps keep the formula fresh and potent from the first application to the last.
How do I use it?
After washing your hair, apply a small amount of tonic onto the scalp while hair is still damp. Gently massage in, then brush and style as usual.
What is it formulated without?
No synthetic fragrances, parabens, silicones, PEGs, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, gluten, mineral oil or triclosan. It is vegan, plant-based and cruelty-free.
Is LXMI cruelty-free?
Absolutely! None of our products (nor our ingredients) are tested on animals. The line is Leaping Bunny certified and vegan.
Will it make my hair greasy?
No, the Soothing Scalp Tonic nourishes the scalp without leaving hair greasy or weighed down.
The lightweight, pH-balancing formula delivers hydration and soothing botanicals to the scalp without coating the hair in heavy oils.
Does it work for colored hair?
Yes, it works great for color-treated hair and won’t strip or fade your color. It's free of harsh chemicals and designed to be gentle on both scalp and strands.
Does natural/plant-based skincare really work?
It can be highly effective, but not all skincare is created equal. The LXMI line is different as it begins with wild-harvested botanicals from remote regions untouched by commercial agriculture. Fertile soil yields potent ingredients dense in nutrients.
The result is skincare that delivers intense nourishment and repair, while also reflecting our stand for social impact and honoring nature’s wisdom.
What does social impact mean?
A social impact brand differs from a regular business, whose primary focus is profit. Like a non-profit, the main driver for an impact brand is to make a difference — but it sustains itself through the products or services it sells (not donations).
LXMI's impact mission centers around uplifting marginalized women & Indigenous communities and protecting biodiversity through ethical + regenerative ingredient harvesting.
