WHAT IS IT
This plant-based, cruelty-free glow cream in a universally flattering rose gold shade is an innovative skincare-makeup hybrid that moisturizes and highlights for a dewy, lit-from-within glow. Apply as a highlighter, eyeshadow, subtle cream blush, or all over face as a primer (either under or blended with foundation).
Entirely silicone-free, this glow cream is instead made from cold-pressed Ugandan Nilotica nuts, wild-harvested along a remote stretch of the Nile River. The region’s unique soil biome yields pure Nilotica with uncommonly high concentrations of nutrient-rich bioactive compounds. Related to the shea nut, Nilotica has a softer texture and superior nutritional density, providing the same smoothing effect as silicones - but with the nourishment your skin needs.

Yes, the rose-gold pigment is pretty much universally flattering! It looks nice on skin tones ranging from fair to deeply toned. Don't be fooled by the seemingly strong pink hue; like magic it blends into the skin, imparting just a slight flush of sunlit glow. Yes - we redesigned the Goddess Glow tube with freshness and performance in mind. We received feedback that the previous 30 ml size often took too long to use up (as only a tiny amount is applied at a time), which meant the product would potentially lose some of its potency and luminous effect. By offering a 20 ml tube, we ensure you always enjoy the cream at its freshest, most radiant quality.
It's also actually a better deal, as the previous 30ml tube cost $42 ($1.40 per ml), compared to this latest 20ml tube for $25 ($1.25 per ml) - so you get more glow for less!
When it comes to sustainability and how we do business, we are constantly looking for ways to do better! There is, of course, many reasons why plastic is such a popular material, as it's really convenient and flexible-yet-rigid to use - but it's sadly rather heartbreaking from an environmental perspective.
Only about 5-6% (U.S.) and 9% (globally) of plastic waste sadly ever gets recycled - and the world produces more plastic than the weight of the entire human population.. every year! Even in the best case scenario, using recycled plastic and plastic that is recyclable, the number of times plastic can be recycled is only about 1-3 times, so sooner or later even the best intentioned plastic tragically will become landfill waste.
The recycling rate for aluminum, which is infinitely recyclable, is 76% - so significantly better. As such, we made the decision to move away from plastic packaging whenever possible and invest in better materials to reduce environmental waste. Thank you for your support!
Whereas many highlighter/glow cream type of products on the market are indeed relying on silicones to create a soft, spreadable texture, it does not have to be that way! Silicones are unnecessary at best and problematic and potentially harmful at worst.
For the skin, silicones can help to create a smooth finish, but otherwise don't actually do anything good for the skin - silicones just act like an inert polymer film, which can cause clogging for acne-prone skin, trap impurities underneath, and linger on the skin.
Environmentally, silicones are known ecosystem disruptors. They can be persistent, bioaccumulative, and ecologically damaging, as many silicones don't biodegrade but instead build up in aquatic organisms when washed off and entered into our waterways. Over time, this bioaccumulation can affect fish and other wildlife, potentially entering the food chain.
No matter the dose, since there are much better alternatives to silicones out there, we see no reason to use silicones in our products. We believe that makeup should benefit the skin in more ways than just visually, while also not damaging the world around us. By using social impact-sourced Nilotica as the base instead of silicones, our Goddess Glow doesn't just give your complexion a flattering radiance, but also nourishes your skin, promotes a healthy barrier, and supports biodiversity.
