Susi is a kite-boarding legend. She is one of the premier Red Bull athletes and during the 2003 Red Bull King of the Air competiton was given the sports highest female honor: Red Bull Queen of the Air. In 2007 she Co-Founded MaiTai Global together with Sillicon Valley VC Bill Tai. MaiTai Global is a group of extraordinary entrepreneurs, innovators and athletes.Participants combine their energy, network and resources to help each other achieve professional success, pushing the limits of work and play while also fueling philanthropic activities around the world. The MaiTai Global community has an incredibly accomplished professional network who’s collective passion brings them together in an extreme environment.

L.J.: WHY DO PEOPLE LOOK UP TO YOU?
I guess it is because I have proven myself in a man’s world. Kiteboarding was tough at the beginning but I never saw it as a challenge that I couldn’t tackle. I’m a firm believer in the idea that anyone can anything they want if they really put their minds to it.
