The sun hitting the Nile River in Uganda.

You are what you put on your skin.

Did you know that up to 60% of what you put on your skin and scalp gets absorbed into your body?

According to the Environmental Working Group:

The average woman uses 12 products containing 168 different ingredients daily. Many cosmetic chemicals are designed to penetrate into the skin’s inner layers, and they do. Consequently, some common cosmetic ingredients turn up in people’s bodies. Among them: industrial plasticizers called phthalates; parabens, which are preservatives; and persistent fragrance components like musk xylene.

At LXMI, we're committed to using organic, natural ingredients that are safe enough to eat. LXMI searches until we find nontoxic solutions, even if they are harder and more expensive to source.

We refuse to use parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes, silicones, artificial fragrances or preservatives. Just pure, potent botanicals. And that’s it.
